취약계층에 대한 주거문제에 적극 공감하고 있으며 토론토시의 입장도 충분히 이해하지만 해당 부지(Cummer)는 적합하지가 않으니 계속해서 좀더 나은 입지를 물색해보자는 것이 본인의 생각”이라고 설명했습니다.

"I understand the City plans to embark on a city-led planning process for this site. I continue to maintain that a better site in Willowdale can be found to better serve the needs of vulnerable individuals and our community. To that end, last week I had a meeting with Mayor Tory to discuss alternate sites in Willowdale. While the City plans to continue with this site, I remain committed to finding a solution."
